Ingredients:
- 1 box brownie mix
- 1/4 cup whiskey
- 1/4 cup sea salt caramel sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Sea salt flakes, for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan
Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions, replacing water with whiskey
Spread half of the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth
Pour cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter layer
Drizzle sea salt caramel sauce over the cream cheese layer
Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter over the caramel layer
Use a knife to swirl the layers together
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars
Sprinkle with sea salt flakes before serving
