Potato Dumplings



You can serve these potato dumplings as a main dish or as a side dish. They are comforting and easy to make. They taste great and are soft and fluffy.

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

Boil the potatoes until tender, then drain and mash them thoroughly

In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, flour, eggs, salt, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper

Mix until well combined

Form the mixture into small dumplings, about 1 inch in diameter

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil

Drop the dumplings into the boiling water and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface

Using a slotted spoon, remove the dumplings from the water and drain them well

Serve hot with your favorite sauce or garnish
