This Basil White Bean Dip Burger combines the creamy and herby goodness of basil white bean dip with a juicy beef patty, crispy bacon, and classic burger fixings. It's a delightful twist on a traditional burger.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup canned white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, packed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices of tomato
  • 4 slices of red onion
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons basil white bean dip prepared as per instructions
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked crispy
  • Pickles for garnish

Instructions:

Cut up the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, and put them in a food processor

Do this with the white beans

This is the basil white bean dip

Blend it until it's smooth

Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready

Add salt and pepper to the ground beef, and then form it into 4 burger patties

Grill the burger patties until they're done the way you like them

For medium-rare, they usually need four to five minutes on each side

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they're just barely brown while the grill is on

On the bottom half of each bun, spread mayonnaise

Then, add a tablespoon of basil white bean dip

Cover each bun with a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and a red onion slice

Serve with mayo and dip

Almost done with the burgers? Add a slice of provolone cheese to each one and cover the grill to melt the cheese

Put the burgers together by putting the cheesy patties on the buns that have been prepared and then adding lettuce, tomato, and onion

Put pickles and a crispy piece of bacon on top of each burger

Put the top half of the bun on top of each burger, not too hard, and serve hot
